If you haven’t experienced the love of a pet, you are missing out something beautiful that transcends speciesism and I know some people like to say that domesticating animals is cruel as it is for our purposes only but animals like dogs thrive off contact, especially human contact, they look up to us, they protect us, they console and comfort us beyond appearance and monetary value and fancy things that most people use to validate their existence. It’s a pure love, a love free of criticism, complication, and discrimination. Its so much more beautiful than you would think.

My pup is my life

This brought on another sooky moment for me. I really miss living with a dog. But it would be unfair to move Bronte into my place away from what she is used to because she currently lives with my ~retired parents who are home all day to spoil her. However I will be visiting a pound tomorrow in the hopes that I bond with another dog and can have him or her live here with me!
